Witch Vows Revenge After Broom Theft

The Broom, or One Similar to it
The Wicked Witch of West Texas is vowing swift and terrible revenge today after her own plot to kidnap Lulu ended in the Witch's broom disappearing.

The Witch had this to say:
"I had been conducting surveillance and found that Lulu was about to go to a certain San Antonio location, so, naturally, I went there to set a kidnap trap. Imagine my surprise when, after returning from a taco break, I noticed my cinnamon sports broom missing. A look into my crystal ball solved the mystery, though. A certain bratty child, the one for whom I was setting a trap, walked right into the store and took the broom. No doubt she's now hiding it in some remote locale and thinks what she did was immensely clever. I will exact a terrible consequence for this act, though, as soon as I figure out where in Texas she's hiding. My best bet is that they secreted her over to Marfa. I have my weirdos out scouring the state for her, and when I find her, she's toast. Literally, I'm going to change her into a piece of toast, and then butter her, slather her with jelly, and set her toasty little self by an ant pile. That will teach her."

Locals are very worried that the Witch will decide to punish the entire area with a curse, believing that Lulu was aided and abetted by someone living in these parts. She's reportedly considering a city wide curse of some sort. The preferred theory is that she'll turn all of the taco fillings in the city into worms or some other gross stuff. There is also a reward being offered for anyone who finds and returns the broom. The reward is a charm to protect the lucky finder from all future curses and hexes visited upon any part of Texas, so many people are looking for the broom. One unlucky yokel has already turned over a similar broom, but when it turned out to be a non-magical broom the Witch transformed him into a small brown scorpion and had him encased in plastic.

Wherever Lulu is hiding, she should be very careful not to do anything to draw the attention of the Witch and if she still has that broom, she should hide it real good.
